POSITION SUMMARY

This position will focus on closing new business with SMB market and developing a strong referral network. The SMB account segment responsibilities will include initiating, qualifying and closing business from our portfolio of carrier services comprising of Renodis Carrier relationships. The referral segment will focus on identifying, educating, and securing this network, as well as continued relationship management, to deliver new opportunities to the company. Products will include, but not be limited, to local voice, Long Distance, Internet and WAN services.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and cultivate strategic relationships at all levels of customer organization.
  • Identify and develop winning strategies that will drive order closure.
  • Ability to conduct presentation and consultative sell to Manager and Director level customers.
  • In-depth industry, technical and business process knowledge.
  • Contributes to the budgeting, forecasting and planning process.
  • Qualify and convert prospects.
  • Continually educate referral network on our products and services.
  • Gathers, documents and educates organization on competitive environment.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.


QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • 5+ years of experience selling services in the financial, telecom or software space
  • Four year degree preferred
  • Strong relationship development skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Team player

  • Strong business acumen – Sell to Manager and Director levels, understands business drivers and maps solutions
